Subject: Help Support Ravenswood Schools for "free"
Dear Friends and Family,
I wrote to some of you about this a couple of weeks ago, but now I have it straight how it all works.
I work for Ravenswood City School District -- a small K-8 district of mostly low-income students.
Microsoft is opening a new store in Stanford Shopping Center on April 19, 2012. They are going to give up to $250,000 worth of software to the Ravenswood Education Foundation. BUT, we have to "earn" it. $50,000 is guaranteed, but above that comes through voting.
We get $20 worth for each Vote on this website, another $20 if you click the SHARE button after you vote.
You can vote and share every day until April 17. We need 10,000 votes!!!

It's easy if you have a Facebook account. Just click that link above, click VOTE under the Ravenswood Education Foundation, and then SHARE (NOTE: Daily votes are registered by IP address).
Thanks for your support. This will allow us to upgrade all the student and office computers to Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 and also upgrade servers, etc. It will really, really be a big deal.
Ravenswood has essentially no budget for technology. We have to get grants and donations for everything.
Thanks,
Sue Allen
