Hi list

I just want to mention a step-by-step guide to encrypting sensitive files on sshfs mounted storage:
http://balau82.wordpress.com/2009/08/23/secure-remote-storage-using-sshfs-and-encfs/

On my laptop I needed the work-around from:
http://blog.seljebu.no/2011/05/encfs-over-sshfs-on-linux-mint-10/
but still it was rather easy to get it running with my MiG home and other sshfs mounted servers.

I should probably point out that your MiG files are generally safe from anyone but the MiG server admins and we do respect your privacy.
So you don't really have to worry about encryption there, but it is always nice to have the option if you are a bit paranoid.

Cheers, Jonas
