Fw: DFID Proposal on MDGs 1,3,4,5,6

Dear Colleagues,

Those of our MigrationAware members in Nigeria can also make suggestions in this regard.

 

Our organization wants to partner with organizations in the global north especially in the UK. There is a call for proposal that came out recently from DFID. One of the conditions for applying for that grant to fast-track it is to have a partner in the UK. We recently concluded the EC-UN funded project (which we are all part of) on irregular migration with a partner (Coventry University) in the UK but they are not working in the area of MDGs so we can't partner with them. Which is why we are looking for another partner in the UK.

 

I am now approaching you for the possiblitiy of referring us to any UK-based NGO that we can partner with. Or if you are a potential one, let us engage ourselves in the modalities. Shorlty, I am forwarding the necessary documents in respect of that call so that you can have an idea of what is all about. The focus is on MDGs 1,3, 4, 5 and 6 which we have expertise for.

Kindly get back to me in good time as the deadline for sending the concept note is fast approaching. This is one of the ways can build a lasting relationship. We have the skills and the resources to carry it out.
