Hi All,

Just curious who's using migrate with SQLAlchemy 0.5.x?
Looking through the code, we have to do a lot of branching just to deal
with 0.5.

With 0.6 out for some time now and 0.7 brewing, I wonder if we should
think about dropping support for 0.5?

cheers,

Chris

The idea was to stay one release cycle behind SQLA. This means 0.5 support would be dropped with migrate 0.7 which would support SQLA 0.6 and 0.7

This release cycle gives much more headaches as one would think, I propose we stick to SQLA versions and map them 1:1 to migrate. Meaning SQLA 0.7 will map to migrate 0.7 and no other.

Cheers, Domen

That's fine for me, but I *really* need a release, ASAP.

I've done a lot of work that has nothing to do with my own use cases to
try and make this happen.

What will the release number be and when will it happen?
(today would be great...)

The release number will be 0.6.1.

Thanks for your work, I'll perform a release today.
