I see a lot of posts about creating certificates and have read the topics obviously but it seemed to be a windows related problem. I wonder if that is the case for the macOS Version of Tizen Studio as well since it is Safari being used instead of IE. Do I have to wait for the update as well or is my problem a different one?

Dear Support,
Our ad tech team is still experiencing this issue. We hope that this matter is a high priority and can be resolved soon as we must start debugging our samsung builds ASAP but can not continue without creating our certifications. Please get back to us with an update soon.

I spoke with someone from Samsung who said it's a software update issue, but all updates have been done. Turning the unit off and on, unplugging and plugging it back in didn't work. There's not much online about this code. One search turned up a possible voltage issue, but that doesn't make sense. Power source hasn't changed. Just for fun we tried another outlet and it still throws the code. Unit doesn't respond at all to pressing other buttons.

Hi everyone, I am new here and I am sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this. I have a Samsung smart tv and yesterday when I turned it on it started giving me error 107 and it won't connect to my router(every other device is fine and easily connects to the wireless router, it is placed around 3 meters away from the tv but that hasn't been an issue for the past 2 years). My model is UE43TU7072UXXH . I tried restarting my router, tried resetting the network setting, reset the smart hub settings, tried putting a manual dns code(8.8.8.8) but nothing works. It doesn't show any wifi's when I try to connect it and it can't connect when I try to manually add the wifi info.

If your Samsung TV won't connect to WiFi, you need to reset it. Unplug your TV and wait a full 60 seconds. While the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After the 60 seconds are up, plug your Samsung TV back in and it should connect.

I need help resetting the EDP (Enhanced Data Protection) state for my Samsung Cloud account. I want to enable Enhanced Data Protection for backup, but I forgot the recovery key. Let me be clear: I don't need to restore data, just need to turn on the feature. When I attempt to turn it on, it asks me for the recovery key. I don't have it, and the feature is turned OFF.

I enabled the Enhanced Data Protection feature once when I first got my phone, but then I disabled it, because I didn't know what the feature was at that time, so that is why I forgot the recovery code. So now I just want to enable it. I don't even care if I delete all the backup data on my account since I'm not trying to restore anything.

Can Samsung please help me out with this one? Please don't tell me to "reset the recovery code in the Samsung Cloud options" because if you look at the screenshot, THE OPTION IS GRAYED OUT.

I went back into my account menu from the Android settings and turned all the backup switches on to start a fresh backup. However, even though there is no backup data in the cloud anymore, it still won't let me back up my device without the aforementioned recovery key.

I called that number and spoke to someone who connected to my phone. Bottom line: there is nothing you can do about it, because the key is a "forever key" that is associated with your account. The rep stated that Samsung cannot reset or recover it.

Samsung needs to listen up that this is a ridiculously poor method of doing key management. Further, they need to communicate in CLEAR TERMS somewhere that this is a one time use code and that it can never be reset anymore, which is what the rep told me.

Can anyone confirm if they've had any other experience and that this is actually true? I've read from one other place that someone actually had their "EDP State Reset". Why were they able to get theirs done and I can't? If I find the link I'll post it here.

Recreating the account does not make sense. I have contacted Samsung support, and they asked me to delete and recreate an account. While it is not a big deal to create another account, why should I? It should let me recreate the security key by initializing the backup data, cleanse and start-over.

Most of my electronics are made by samsung but i've never found this problem before. the 1st time i powered on the Tab S8 ultra, the very 2nd screen. on the 1st it asks for the country, then on the 2nd it asks to "scan a qr code". it doesn't specify which qr code, as if it was totally obvious to what it is referring. it might as well have been asking "type in the number".

do you have any idea what qr code it wants? I followed another thread regarding this happening on a galaxy s22 ultra (phone), and the advice given was that the phone box contained a brown envelope with this qr code, but there's no such a thing in my tablet's box.

@Lindalou71: Press and hold the Side Key on the side of your tablet until the Power menu appears on screen, then tap 'Restart'. You can also swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom, then again to enlarge the Quick Panel, and tap the power button that appears in the top right corner of the screen.

Getting Error code 202 when trying to use apps or do anything on my tv via wifi.. The strange thing is I get "connected to the internet" via wifi, but then trying to use Netflix, hulu, etc...it doesn't work...digging deeper I found that I "cannot connect to smart hub" because there is an "ip blocking the service. error code 202." Everything works fine when I hard wire a lan cable...but that's not practical for my setup.

This is what worked for me. Something about disconnecting every piece of equipment one by one and then powering back on one by one allowed the connections to be reestablished. Hope I can help someone else with these steps.

I switched off and unplugged everything, re connected them all again, still could not get TVNZ on demand msg was that it was under maintenance. Could get all the other apps to work. So I tried selecting Prime, then TVNZ. It works !!! Amazing. Thanks for the tip!!

I have a UN55TU8000 and an ARRIS AT&T (BGW210-700) modem/router. I used to have a Cox modem/router (motorola) . When the AT&T modem/router was installed, the problem started to occur but not right away. Over a period of a month or so, it started to occur more frequently and the steps to clear the issue became more involved almost as if the the TV had some kind of AI working against me. By the time 2 couple of months past nothing would clear the problem including ALL of the so called solutions on here and on the internet. I finally contacted AT&T after using the Device Care Diagnostics on the TV and finding the most common error was ISB Blocking (error 102) and told AT&T that the problem was on their side. The agent logged into my router and set the IP pass-through in the firewall settings to manual and pointed it to the mac address of my TV and without any resetting, power cycling, or other gyrations the TV connection via the wired port and wireless port was perfect. Note: that if the connection is not working correctly the tests performed in the Device Care Diagnostics will go very slowly as each step will take a minute to time out and most often you will not know the real cause of the failure; just that it reports that last failure. (DNS vs ISP vs something else). When it is working the diagnostic tests fly by taking 3 seconds maximum for each of the 5 steps. The IP forwarding solution stinks since now the only device connected that has full internet access is the TV. The other connected wireless devices all are crippled in some way, such as computers are only able to access certain popular websites and wifi calling does not work.

The real problem is that Samsung is not forth coming and open about exactly what is required for its TV to access the internet, such as what ports it requires, and any special filtering rules. Setting this up in the router would be much better than simply IP forwarding (letter everything for that specific device go through) at the expense of everything else. Today's Routers are very smart and could handle this on a device by device basis. So how about it Samsung? You going to stop making us go through all the gyrations only for a temporary fix that reverts back to a broken system every time we turn the TV off and back on again?

also the auto call for verfication goes Way to fast i can only just keep get it in time to type the code in when it says it a second time around (you could at least pause for 3 seconds before blerting out a code at super fast speed) no way a normal person would be able to type the code in time as most pepole have to think what button to press

OK worked it out remove or add the country code to the number in the box where it asks you for mobile number (so instead of 0044 or +44 you just put your mobile number only in, as that's how I got mine to work)

Samsung still need to fix this bug as it shouldn't be sending invalid codes in the first place, as that probably means they are using the mobile number to actually generate the code witch is not very secure and could be used to generate codes on the fly without Samsung website (please pass this message up to higher ups please mods who deal with Samsung Device Account security)

Same issue here. Using a Galaxy A50, not able to get past the verification code to sign into my samsung account, even after auto fill of the code that was sent via sms to my phone. Interestingly enough, this occured after i updated the software. This is truly annoying to encounter. Can't even get unto tech support.

Guess I have to check again see if it's still doing it (annoying thing is you can't disable 2fa without a valid code and samsung phone) they really need to fix this as this could disable the phone until valid code is provided
