Borderlands Goty Enhanced Mods

soi recently seen on the steam news section that borderlands GOTY enhanced edition has a third person mod. i was excited to try it but i have never used a mod before and have zero experience in this field. i installed the mod but my computer says it can't open the file. i tried to install Vortex but the game isn't supported. is there something im missing here? any help would be appreciated and i got plenty of room to download what i need.

What you're missing is a mod manager that can handle mods for Borderlands GOTY. Vortex is not one of those mod managers. Search the web to find a mod manager designed for Borderlands. If there's not one, then you can probably find some instructions about how to install mods manually.

thanks guys for the help. im gonna search the web for a mod manager and look into willow tree. this seems like a lot of work just to play the game in third person mode and i wish it was a plug and play system but i got a good idea of the direction i need to now head in. i appreciate all the help!
