Sub: Bhagyalakshmi and Krishna Ayengar Award 2015-16 – for TWO STUDENTS -Request for project proposal from final year B.Tech/Dual Degree/ M.Tech./ MBA/M.Sc. students & M.S./Ph.D. scholars who have completed the requirements for the award of degree – Reg.

One student from B.Tech/Dual Degree/M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc. and one scholar from M.S./Ph.D programme will be awarded Bhagyalakshmi and Krishna Ayengar Award for the best project in the Convocation 2016. The selected students/scholars will share the award amount of Rs.30, 000/-. The teacher(s) who guided the Project/ Thesis will share the award of Rs.30,000/- and the same will be given at the Institute Day 2017 and Rs.60,000/- will be shared by the Concerned departments for having provided resources for the team involved in the awarded project.
Research work of M.S./Ph.D. scholars (who are expected to receive the degree in 2016 convocation) and project work of final year B.Tech/Dual Degree/M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc. students in the following areas are eligible for consideration:
- Solar & alternative energy application
- Energy efficiency
- Pollution abatement (air, water, noise, etc.,)
- Infrastructure improvements (road, water, power, sewer, etc.,)

The Heads of Departments are requested to kindly forward the soft copy of the proposal(s) received from the students/scholars through Guide to the following e-mail id’s
