Speaker Bio:

1)  Vamsi Krishna Nalluri has been working in various leadership capacities in administration, sales and marketing in the education industry and many other national and multinational companies including Kurlon Ltd. in Bangalore, Zee Learn Limited in Mumbai, and Leons in Toronto, Canada for more than 10 years. He also brings along his extensive international and multicultural experience from Red Salsa Technologies in Dallas, Texas and Reliance Globalcom in San Francisco, CA where he served in several administrative capacities. Vamsi graduated with Master’s degree in Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan, after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bengaluru, India.

His interest in the field of sales and marketing compelled him to take up the role of Sales Head at The Princeton Review – Manya Abroad in the year 2013 where he successfully established an entire business segment for Higher Education Counseling for study abroad and several B to B channel partners throughout Karnataka for direct campus recruitment. He has established larger foot prints in the International education space through his creative marketing strategies and tireless efforts.  Vamsi has strong expertise in research methodologies, developing marketing and sales plans, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and conducting and managing events for promotion of services in newly established territories. He also has proficiency in Strategy Formulation, Business Planning and Implementation, Brand Promotion, Event Management, and Business Development.

2)  Mariamma Thomas comes to ELS with a lengthy higher education background and robust skill set. Her Master’s degree is in Social Work, and she also holds an MBA degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. At WSU, she was also an effective team member in the area of graduate admissions for eight years, serving that Carnegie Foundation Research I institution and its 8,500 graduate students. Mariamma is skilled in all aspects of the admission counseling and university application processes especially those relating to the placement of internationals students. Her specialties include international credential evaluation and interpretation, counseling prospects and applicants regarding appropriate program research and selection, the application and matriculation process. As a professional in the world of international credential evaluation, her tenure as a Senior Evaluator at Academic Evaluation Services, Inc. in Tampa, Florida also gives her an advantage in assisting ELS clients.
