We are proud to present the IIT Madras Mechanical department's flagship technical festival Mechanica 2016 from 4th to 6th, March 2016 in its all new avatar with a host of events to look out for everyone.
We gladly invite you all to the grand kick-off to the festival with the inaugural ceremony on 04.03.2016 at the Central Lecture Theater by 6:30 PM. The ceremony is graced by renowned speakers across academia and industry, coming over to engage and educate the audience.Please find the schedule attached with this mail.
Events to look out for:
· RoboSoccer - We combine two of the favorite pastimes of tech-enthusiasts. Robotics & Soccer!
· Robotics - Manual and Autonomous robotics have been two of our most thrilling events. So, let your bot's do the talking!
· Fire N Ice - Miniature beasts trying to get the better of their opponents. It is indeed exhilarating when RC cars zoom past you!
· Junkyard Wars - An event that tests your "Jugaad" skills to the core, where even scrap is not left wasted.
