Dear Students,
Attention: Students who will be graduating in 2016 Convocation
Sub: Verification of correctness of names and photographs by the
students – Preparation of Degree Certificates – Reg.
The link http://web.iitm.ac.in/convocation/ for verification of name and photograph by the graudands for the purpose of printing their names in the Degree Certificates is now open [from 15.04.2016].
1. If a student finds the photograph is not correct, the student is requested to contact the Academic Section with a soft copy of their recent colour passport size photograph [taken with a formal dress].
2. If the name is not spelt correctly, then the graduand has to submit any one of the following documents as evidence for changing the name:
- 10th std certificate in respect of B.Tech/DD/MA students
- 10th std certificate or Degree Certificate in respect of Master’s programme
- Passport / Gazette notification (for all programmes)
3. Graduands whose details are not available are requested to contact Academic Section immediately with a soft copy of photograph for updation.
Please note that Degree certificate will not be prepared unless
- The name and photograph are verified as correct on or before 17th May 2016 by each of the graduand
- In case of any mismatch soft copy of photo or proof for name change should be submitted to Academic Section on or before
17th May 2016.
Kindly note that there will not be any extension of time for verification.
