Poll on voting at the end of Soapbox

Hi,

This year we didn't have a unofficial election for the post of branch Councillor. Few students requested to have an unofficial voting along with the soapbox which will be sometime between 8th-10th March.

I would like raise few points about this election:
We can't make a candidate withdraw based on this election as the last date of withdrawal was 1st March. Though this can't have any quantitative output. It can be sent as a strong message from seniors to 1st years and 2nd years who have little idea about the role of BC. Having this election would give them a basis of voting rather than being influenced by various other factors.
Regarding inclusion of 2nd years, there have been different views about it.
One argument is BC is actively involved in the internship process so, even second years should get a chance to vote. On the other side of the coin even second years aren't exactly aware role of BC so they might be influenced by other reasons.
I will decide on the inclusion of second years based on this poll. This poll will be active till 09:00 am 5th March.
