[Mifos-users] Pentaho (non informative Error Message)

Hello MIFOS helpers

I'm trying to get to run pentaho reports, after several problems solved
I ran into this:

....No more information given, the messages for the errors I had before
gave much more information.

first I had the one with reports not in the right folder
then with the defaut password
then I had editet the report with the wrong version of the designer
...but this one I can just not solve

Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

I figured that on one machine (Windows 7) I do experience this problem,
but on the other (Windows XP) I do. This is the correspondig part of the

Please, anybody? What does it mean when report exexution crahes with
this error:

and in the logs I read:

- error.msg.reporting.error:null ....( <- It crashed because of an
inexistent error)

I am totaly stuck with this for days, there is nobody else with an IT
background here to help me on my team and people are beginnig to think
that we should abort our move to MIFOS.


How do I tackle this?

FYI for anybody who may have enabled strict mode on MySQL

Got an update from Madhukar that the issue Joel was facing was due to strict mode being enabled on MySQL. We shall be updating the pentaho reports to work with strict mode in the next release,
