[Mifos-users] Apache tomcat Error

Hi,

My apache has stopped working after editing, the java option to get
rid PermGen error. the following are the ammendments made to the java
section:

-Xms1024M
-Xmx1024M
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m
-XX:-UseParallelOldGC

the tomcat Start, stop, restart buttons are all disabled. you can only
configure or exit the tomcat monitor.
however when you try to initialize tomcat using the Tomcat6
application on the bin folder i keep getting this error:

"Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap"

please advise on how to resolve this.

I'd guess you're requiring the JVM allocate more physical memory than is
available from the operating system.

Have you tried searching the web for this error message?
