[Mifos-users] Error logging into Mifos X - Credentials are not valid

Hi all,

I'm not sure of the exact cause of the issue but it appears to be a bug as its occurred on several different Mifos X instances (including the demo server I believe)

In this case, Charles simply logged into his sandbox environment (https://kikaayasacco.openmf.org). First time it was fine, second time he got the following:

Ed,

This is bug in the community app, if you switch between tenants without clearing cache this issue will appear. I think issue might be fixed in the develop branch.

Use it in private mode of browser, if you are working on multiple tenants till the fix is part of the release.

I tried in Chrome incognito mode but still get same error - I tried with a hard refresh too.

Ed,

I checked in the demo server and the user has been deleted using the API or community-app (the issue earlier seen on the default tenant was the same)

Running a script like

update m_appuser set username="mifos" where id=1;   
update m_appuser set password="5787039480429368bf94732aacc771cd0a3ea02bcf504ffe1185ab94213bc63a" where id=1;
update m_appuser a set a.nonexpired=1 where id=1;
update m_appuser a set a.is_deleted=0 where id=1; 
update m_appuser a set a.nonexpired_credentials=1 where id=1;
update m_appuser a set a.enabled=1 where id=1; 

would restore the default mifos user (have done the same for kikaayasacco tenant)

It looks like you have created a lock-in period for this savings account (withdrawals are not allowed during the lock-in period)

Charles,

Did you see Vishwas' previous email? You need to go back to the savings product configuration and edit it and remove the lock-in period which is preventing the withdrawals.
