[Mifos-developer] 500 internal server error when trying to upload document

Hi all,

Am getting a 500 internal server error when trying to upload any document can someone kindly assist with this , i have attached a screenshot.

  1. Request URL:
  2. Request Method:
    POST
  3. Status Code:
    500 Internal Server Error

I was also testing the same API call, it is not working for post request whereas it is working for the get request.

In demo server, system à  global configuration for amazon-S3 is enabled. But it is not configured in system à external services. which is causing the issue.

Now I disabled amazon-S3 in global configurations.

Nelly,

 

Disable amazon-s3 in Global Configurations.

 

Or if you want documents to be saved in s3 bucket, maintain the details of the bucket in Admin >> External Services >> S3 Amazon Configuration.

 

Hope this resolves your issue.

Thank you for the response,how do i achieve that, i am currently testing out a feature on the android app and need the API to work, can that be done to the Demo server online?

Hi Nelly,

 

Log in to https://demo.openmf.org (mifos/password)

 

Go to Admin >> System >> Global Configurations.

 

You will see amazon-s3 configuration, click on disable to disable it and then try upload your document.

Hi Subramanya,

 

Nelly managed to disable amazon-s3 config that’s why you are not able to reproduce the issue.

 

That was the only issue which she has resolved now.
