PS: If you start the implementation plan can you please keep in the loop ;)MarkusCheers@Vishwas: Is there a particular use case that is needed immediatley beside the collection use case you'd described? This should be good as a proof of concept and should help validating the usability of theAPI.Hi Rishabh,I'd say let's start with the outlined uses cases for the first step and include the collection use case described by Vishwas.

GSOC'14Regards,So what according to you should we have in the mocked batch API?Hi Markus,Yeah it'll be good to provide some basic functionalists as our mocked version of mifosx batch API. It'll be beneficial for other people working on similar projects as well.

MarkusCheersWhat do you think about this?Beside rest-assured based integration tests this would help us validating the usability of the new API right from the start.Hi Rishabh,I think we should offer a mocked version of the Batch API so it can be implemented in the Community App and/or the Android App.

Hi Anuruddha,After having a look at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/making-multiple-requests/ and at the model shared by Markus regarding the mifosx-batch-API, I found it quite interesting and necessary module to have in mifosx.Although I had already made quite a good amount of progress about the implementation plan of "Actionable notifications/alerts/status updates in Mifos X", so I was a bit confused whether this new project will be equally interesting for me. But after going through the project description on mifosx GSOC ideas page, I can now say that I am really enthusiastic about it and good to go with mifosx-batch-API project.Looking forward for further discussions regarding mifosx-batch-API.Thanks,RishabhGSOC'14On Thu, May 1, 2014 at 8:16 AM, Anuruddha Premalal <anuruddh...@gmail.com> wrote:Hello Rishabh,There is a little concern that the notification project scope is generally reduced due to couple of other folks(Musoni and Gaurav) working on similar projects.
A batch processing API, suggested by Markus (in cc) is the next priority for mifosx; the impact of this project will be in many areas, originally for syncing data from the Android client. Vishwas has updated the GSOC ideas page with the project description.Markus(from Germany) will be co-mentoring the project as well. Let's keep this thread to brainstorm the idea and come up with an executable plan. I'll setup a call in the next week to the introductions.
Hope you'll be okay with this change and please let us know if you have any concerns.Best Regards,AnuruddhaDas logische Denken ist das Muster einer vollständigen Fiktion. - Friedrich Nietzsche
