Allof these things needed to happen in order to get to the spot where Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me could even be created. Smith needed to burn himself out writing a full album a year between 1979 through 1985, and rapidly changing in sound from punk to post-punk to goth to acid-fueled psychedelia to breaking into the pop charts, not only to build upon his past work but also to free himself from the cycle of basically following the template Siouxsie and the Banshees had arrived at six months prior in almost each album. He needed to place in the charts, not to the point where he would lose his style chasing the sound of the moment, but place well enough to secure the kind of budget that would allow him the time and scope to create the album that, in my opinion, would be a blueprint for what The Cure would become over the next 20 years.

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me came out on Fiction/Elektra Records on May 26, 1987, almost two years after their previous album The Head on the Door. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me would fully redefine the band in a number of ways: it was their first top 40 album in the United States, their first double album, their first album to produce four singles, their first album where the music featured full band writing credits (although lyrics were still by Robert Smith only), and from this point forward the band would leave behind the one-album-per-year writing/recording cycle and would only release albums when the material was there instead of bowing to the constant pressure for product by fans or the industry. Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me is the album where it became less about Robert Smith and more about The Cure as an actual band.

This was all pre-internet, so it was over twenty years before I discovered other fans had done the same thing. I had just never felt at home with the record in its original order, but sometime in my late thirties, after many deep dives through headphones and having worked at a few record stores for over fifteen years, I gained the musical background to fully appreciate the album and its original sequence. What strikes me now is how strong each song is individually that you can put together multiple versions and sequences for the album and have a solid single pop record, a record of love songs, a violent and angry album, or even a triple album odyssey when adding in the b-sides.

Get flawless salon gel nail extensions at home with this ergonomically designed LED curing lamp. Part of the innovative and revolutionary KISS Salon X-tend system that provides professional results that stay perfect for up to 2 weeks.

These are professional quality salon gel nail extensions you can easily achieve at home. Unlike ordinary salon gel nail extensions, these nails come pre-polished (no polish needed) & ready to apply with everything you need to DIY. With the use of an LED curing lamp (included in the Starter Kits), like those used for gel and acrylic nails at salons, the nails last for up to 14 days and feel weightless, comfortable, and as natural as your own nails. And the LED lamp curing is motion activated, so it's hassle free to use.

3. Lightly buff the entire nail surface using the fine side of the nail file to remove oil. Pay close attention to the cuticle area and sidewalls. This is an important step to ensure adhesion between the natural nail and the Gel Adhesive.

5. Select proper sized nail tip for each individual finger. If needed, file sides of artificial tip for correct fit. Align the selected tips in sequence for each finger. (Tip: Nail tips are sized by numbers, noted underneath each nail tip. If your nail is in between sizes, choose the smaller size to ensure nail tips do not overlap cuticle or skin.)

(Tip: For best results, work on one hand at a time starting from the pinky nail.) 1. Apply a dot of Gel Adhesive to the circled target area of the pre-buffed

underside of the artificial nail tip that will meet the natural nail.

2. Gently press the nail tip on the natural nail starting from the cuticle area to the free edge with constant, firm pressure, making sure to remove any air

bubbles. (Tip: If any bubbles are present or the gel is not filling to the free edge, remove the nail tip and apply more Gel Adhesive and reposition.)

3. While gently pressing the nail tip with your other hand, place your fingernail on the LED Lamp motion sensor to flash cure for 5-7 seconds. This will secure the position of the nail tip. Make sure the cuticle edge of the

nail tip is securely adhered and cured to prevent nail lifting or hair catching. (Tip: Gel is not completely cured yet at this stage. Remove excessive

gel around the skin and underneath the tip with a manicure stick before moving

onto the full minute cure.)

4. Finish cure for an additional 1-2 minutes to make sure sides and edges are fully cured. (Tip: Clear and light color nail tips can be cured in 1 minute. 2 minute cure is recommended for darker color nails and designed nails. For French and ombr design nails, turn your finger upside down and cure for 1 additional minute to make sure the gel is cured thoroughly.)

5. Repeat steps 1-4 on all ten nails. Keep the Gel Adhesive container tightly closed after use. (Tip: If there is any excessive gel underneath the nail tip, wipe its tacky layer with a cotton swab soaked with alcohol.) Tip: Trim and file the artificial tip to desired length and shape with the

rough side of the nail file.

2. Place one finger at a time on the LED lamp motion sensor to cure. The lamp automatically turns on when motion is detected and turns off when the finger is away. The lamp is preset for 1 minute and designed to start with low power for

5 seconds to minimize the heat-sensitive sensation. For a Flash cure, place your fingernail on the LED lamp motion sensor for 5-7 seconds.

Flash cure holds the nails in place to check the positioning, and you can easily remove and re-apply nail(s) if needed, and you can wipe any nail gel residue from around the nails. Full and final cure holds the nails firmly in place until you remove them.

Ideally, apply a new nail from the original nail kit you used, as directed. Make sure your natural nail is clean and prepped (buffed and wiped with alcohol, like you did for initial application, to ensure the adhesion) before reapplying a nail.

And of course, Ellee-Chan and I didn't want to watch this DVD on our own, so we decided to invite our friends over for a sleepover. I invited Mashiro Nijigaoka, Tsubasa Yuunagi, Ageha Hijiri, Yui Nagomi, Amane Kasai, Kome-Kome, Manatsu Natsuumi, Laura, Kururun, Nodoka Hanadera, Asumi Fuurin, Rabirin, Latte, Lala Hagoromo, Saaya Yakushiji, Yukari Kotozume, Kotoha Hanami and Haruka Haruno.

And finally, the Paramount DVD logo appeared, but the sky was a crimson red, the disc was rusted and dripping pink and green blood, the mountain was dark pink and had green paint on it, and when the disc flew into the mountain, a faint scream was heard as Cure Kiss' sinister laugh played in the background.

Haruka pressed Play All, the episodes in the DVD consisted of: Day Camp, Olympics, Mermaids, Happy and Greetings. After all the episodes played, a warning came up which took place in the credits:, but before any could play, There was a warning in a white background and in the pink Gabbaland text.

"Warning: This DVD contains a lost episode made by Clenny Brown and Ted Morgan, The two teamed up to make the episode and were fired for their gruesome ideas for episodes, We hope you enjoy "Yo Gabba Gabba!", Stay awesome!"

Then afterwards, the theme song played, but the background was dark pink and dark green in half, which was supposed to represent Cure Kiss and Fliqpy's colors. But DJ Lance didn't think anything of it, Neither did the Gabbas.

Gojo Mayumi performed 'DANZEN! Futari Wa Precure' and after she performed, the curtains closed. The Gabbas and the Nickelodeon fish cheered. DJ Lance then picked up the Super Music Friends Show in his hand.

"Bonjour Boys and Girls!" Mark greeted like he did in Adventure. "My name is Mark and today we're gonna draw a chosen protector of the Princess of Hope named Mepple! First, let's draw his face! Like this!"

Of course that's when they sang the song. At the end of the song, the Gabbas, DJ Lance and the Nickelodeon fish cheered as they waved goodbye to Cure Kiss and Fliqpy who vanished off while Cure Kiss laughed evilly.

It then faded to the credits, but they were off. The background was dark pink and dark green, the text was mixed by dark pink and dark green, Gabbaland was still covered in dark pink and dark green and the same song from the closing segment was playing in the background.

The Nickelodeon logo had the lightbulb rusted and in a mixture of a tint of green and pink, as the background was in a tint of red. The logo itself was accompanied by the sounds of hell., mainly from Siberia.

Unfortunately, none of us were able to sleep that night because we kept suffering nightmares of the closing logos and Cure Kiss and Fliqpy jumping out of the Super Music Friends Show and killing us in our sleep. It eventually got so bad as I told my parents as soon as they finally came home the next morning after all my friends went home after breakfast.

They eventually took me to Pretty Holic to get my mind off from that DVD. It helped a little bit, but I knew I wanted to face DJ Lance, the Gabbas and The Nickelodeon fish one day, this time with every citizen of Sorashido City helping out.

To me it's about dealing with being in love with someone you can't have or is having trouble letting go of them. Desperation, impulses, anger. That feeling when you still want someone but you're fighting it. Desperatly saying "Kiss me kiss me kiss me." Expressing how you feel chained and trapped by that feeling "You nail me to the floor and push my guts all inside out". And then also desperately going against it "Get it out get it out get your fucking voice out of my head. I never wanted this [suffering, pain, rejection?]". I love this song so much. I'm currently trying to get over someone and this song soothes me.
