I registered erlangforge.org and erlangforge.com with the idea that we
could possibly create our first erlang application to help develop the
erlang open source community. The idea of a forge site itself poses
many interesting challenges and it would be fun to create the best
forge site with community feedback. The only problem behind this
project is that there is no commercial backing and thus the initial
development and may not give enough incentive to finish it. I think
this project would be good for the community and those involved... but
if someone has a better idea for the 1st project, I'm all ears. I also
want to schedule a 1st meeting somewhere to kick start a routine.
Anyone have a good day in mind? Also, I'd like it to be more frequent
than once a month, but what are other's opinions on this matter?

Do you have the server resources for it? You cannot really run
something like this off a shared host. Also you have to decide how you
want to work with CAEN (http://cean.process-one.net/faq/).

I can probably only make once a month, but don't let that stop you
from meeting more frequently. I think given the likely small size of
the group, picking a bar/restaurant with wi-fi is the easiest way to
start until the numbers grow. I like downtown Ann Arbor, but prefer
someplace with adjacent free parking :-). As for days stay away from
the first Monday of the month and I will be happy.
