A few people have mentioned the need to restock and improve our first-aid kit at the space. To that end, we'd like to see if the following items could be restocked/donated in either kit form or bit by bit:

Adhesive Fabric Bandages
Adhesive Plastic Bandages
Knuckle Bandages
Fingertip Bandages
Burn Gel
Absorbent Gauze Compress
Bandage Compress
Non-Adhering Pads
Triangular Bandage
Gauze Pads
Antiseptic Wipes
PVP Wipes (Povidone-Iodine Prep Pads)
Burn Relief
Cold Compress
Eye Dressing Set
Eye wash solutions
First Aid Tape
Nitrile Exam Gloves
Antiseptic Spray
CPR Mask
Finger Cots
Calcium gluconate gel (for hydrofluoric acid burns)
Sharp scissors
Sharp tweezers
Sterile 0.9% Saline Irrigation Solution
Butterfly closure bandages
Gallon sized Ziplock Bags
sodium bicarbonate

Anything else that you think would contribute would be welcomed.

Thanks!

Looks like this covers most of that:

Dru, what are your prices for that or similar?

A similar question regarding first aid kits came across the Hackerspaces.org mailing list. One comment had some more information:

" We just got done building a bunch of first aid kits for friends and
family over here. Here is my "open source" guide with the bill of
materials in the back:

http://23.org/~arclight/firstaid/firstaid_booklet.pdf

It's based on an article I wrote:

http://23.org/~arclight/firstaid/group_kit.rtf

The premise is that you want something that can be purchased for
$25-30 (supplies only) and packaged in something about the size of a 4
liter zip-loc. This could be a tackle box, clear plastic box or a nice
zippered nylon bag like the last ones I did. This kit is applicable
for about 1 year worth of minor injuries and small emergencies, or one
serious trauma event. Multiple kits can be combined for something like
a car wreck or industrial accident. The contents and methodology are
based on my experience as an EMT in search & rescue." Arclight.

Between us all we should be able to continue to build up our first aid kits.

Thanks!
