We have the LAN party coming soon and we'll be having it in the shop. We need as much clean area as possible for what we have planned. Starting Monday Sepember 19th everyone will have 2 weeks to label and properly store their projects and materials. Anything left at that time (after Oct 3rd) will be considered donated or available for member use. Members have use of the entire fire room (use a labeled container, box, whatever and keep it off the floor please) and the shelves behind the lockers in the shop. Larger projects need to be labeled as well.

Thanks!

Claudio

While cleaning today, noticed a lack cleaning aids, if anyone has old
buckets "3 to 5 gallon", shovels, small brooms, dust pans, and any
thing cleaning related item would be a great help. I think we should
do a tool of the month for one of those big shovels / snow shovel. I
scraped up that giant pile of wood chips in the shop a shovel would
have been great.

thx

Moved most of my wood to the back of the shop, picked up the water
heater and stood it up.

Can we put the silk screening rig away?

We're going to start the shop re-organization process this week. I'll be putting in some time in the evenings and this weekend making a dent in the shop. We hope you will too. We have a Shop Clean Up Day scheduled for Sunday October 23rd starting at 11am. Lets make a point to put in some time over the next couple of weeks to reclaim our shop and workspaces in preparation for the LAN party! If anyone has a large shop-vac we can borrow for the next couple of weeks we'd appreciate it, we'd like to start using it tomorrow afternoon if possible.

Thanks!
Claudio

Is there a particular size shop-vac you had in mind?
I've got one, but it's one of the smaller 6 gallon ones.

Only preference is floor attachments and a decent hose for vacuuming the darkroom and the shop workbenches.

Thanks,

We now have a little more counter space in the back of the shop.

I still have some paint cans under and in the desk but I can move them.
