It's been a long time, but I'm bring back Green Corner!
I posted the first attached image (jumping-aena1.gif) to my Artblog last night. Sorry for not sending you all a message, I was pretty tired after I made the post. You can read the post here:

I'll be making another post about the finished image later tonight. I'll include the pencil sketch there for comparison.
Total time was 5 hours and 11 minutes. As mentioned in my artblog, the linework took an hour and 35 minutes, while the flat colour took 13 and a half minutes. Today, I spent three hours and 23 minutes adding shading, shine, and fixing a couple details.
If you recall, it used to take almost twice as long to create an image like this. With Illustrator CS3, I can use "live paint," which speeds things up immensely. Probably would have taken less time if I didn't delete unnecessary duplicate paths, but I prefer to keep the file size down.
I made a desktop version for myself at 1440 x 900, which I will upload to both groups later. If you'd like another size, please request with the pixel dimensions.

I hope you enjoy the new image! And I plan to get back to working on page six very soon.
