I started working on a winter holiday special before Christmas. I've decided to finish it, despite the fact that most winter holidays have passed for this year.
Attached you will find three progress images.

The completed linework for Aena, one hour and ten minutes; finished December 21 at 1:35 am.

The completed linework for Aena and Zalanda, with Aena's height adjusted (Zalanda is 6' tall, Aena is 5' 5"). Completed after another 2 hours of work, this afternoon (December 31). I always have to do more adjustments for Zalanda when inking. Because she's so curvaceous, she's more challenging to draw. I've also had more practice drawing Aena, so I'm more familiar with drawing her figure.

Background added (you may remember this from the 2006 winter special, it's been slightly adjusted); flat colour completed for Aena, flat colour started for Zalanda, minor details added; additional 2 hours and 28 minutes of work today (December 31). Finished at 8:47 pm.
My right shoulder was hurting near the end of colouring today. It reminded me of when I used to work as a portrait artist. After a few hours of straight drawing, my right arm and shoulder always hurt. A little rest helps though.
Not sure if I'll get in any more work before the new year, but I'll probably do some more work on it tomorrow during the day. There's something that seems a bit off to me about Zalanda's figure. I think I might need to move her waist up a bit, her torso seems long as is. I'll have to draw in some guides to verify my proportions.
Other than that, I hope you like the "Naughty and Nice" theme of the picture. It's not quite as bold or humourous as last year's winter special, but I hope you like it all the same.
