Every color scheme I have tried inverts some of the images, so they look solarized?  It might just be simply color-inverted, but I'm not sure.  How do I change this? I can't seem to find that function in the controls.  Thank you.

Hi!
It depends how images were placed on a particular page - there are many different ways...
If you have an example page I can take a look and say for sure.
Otherwise you can try to change a processing mode:

On some websites canvas is used to display images then 'Do not invert dynamic content' option should help.

Most likely you have some small images inverted since Midnight Lizard assumes they are text-like controls (e.g. ➕ ➖ ❌)

And without inversion those controls would be black on dark background so I think it is more important to invert them than keep small images uninverted.

To reproduce:

1. Go to facebook.com
2. Click the gif button in a comment box
3. Observe the inverted gifs

It's very annoying to have to turn off Midnight Lizard every time I want to post a gif comment on Facebook. Thank you kindly for your attention.

on Facebook filter mode is used by default.
if you change mode to Complex it will fix this problem.

If in case we can't give you the URL, can we give you the 'Inspect' or 'Page source' data? And does it matter the browser, I'm on Microsoft Edge Dev.?

On my front page today I noticed an image was inverted in Filter mode:

Better in Complex:

facebookcomplex.PNG

And best in Simplified:

Hi!
None of those images are inverted. In filter mode images have to be processed two times: first time when entire page is inverted and second time when image is inverted back. Thus it can't be lossless in terms of both performance and quality. Unfortunately there is no other way around, all other extensions do pretty much the same thing in the similar mode.
There should be no difference between images in Complex and Simplified modes in most cases. I have too look by myself to tell why it is happening here. Probably it is not just the mode but some settings are different...

Best regards
