Removal of ML ext. from Chrome does not fully remove it - NOT EVEN CLOSE

I need help to restore my Chrome to normal operation after Midnight Lizard messed it up even after disabling and then removing the ML extension. Does anyone know how to COMPLETELY remove this nightmare extension?

I did uninstall and then reinstall Chrome to no avail.

Suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling Chrome ... that is what I had to do once to remove and extension.
