Hello again :)

I have one query ... I would like to know What is an "Input Device"
and how to add it?

On my desktop PC E6400 Core2Duo, MSI P965 Neo Motherboard running
WinXP Professional, when I open MidiPiano, I DO NOT SEE any Input
Devices listed.

On my laptop PIII 1Ghz running WinXP Professional, when I open
MidiPiano, I SEE one Input Devices listed. It is MPU-401. I can also
see MPU-401 in the output device. Do I have to tick the MPU-401 on
both the input and output? For the output, the Microsoft GS Wavetable
is already selected. Do I have to select both?

Can I connect my keyboard to the PC and listen to it? If so, how? I
connected the output of the kepboard to the input device of the
laptop, but I could not hear any sound.

I wonder if you can help me with this.

Thanks for all your help and the software!

Cheers

MIDI Input Devices will be list if you pluged some MIDI input device
ON with USB or MIDI-IN Port, Like electric piano.
Sometimes, you can add a virtul MIDI Input port on you computer then
let the MidiPiano like a Midi Input Device, It can be use with
calkwalk.
eg: http://www.nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html
The MPU-401 is the device name, but you must connected some physical
MIDI Input (Like electric piano), It will worked.
If you connect your Keyboard to the PC, The "Input Device" will be
list the Keyboard name automatic.
Selected the "Input Device", the Midi Event will be catched by
MidiPiano, and display the Key on virtrul keyboard.
