Can I add to recordings

Hi I was wondering if theres a way to add to something you already
recorded. For example Im using the midi sequence as data to a
controller, and each key is a output. So Im going to go and recorded
the C output. After I finish recording that can I go back and record
the C# output along side the C output. So when I hit play the C output
I recorded is insync with the C# output? I hope I made sense, if it
doesn't just let me know and I'll re phrase it.

Hi, when you start a record with a old midi file, you could open the
midi file first, then click record button, then not choice the "create
new file" option, the new note will record to the old file.
