If you go to your garage (usually at certain gas stations too), you can stop your engine and sleep for around half a day. However, you can only do it 3 times at once before it removes the option for a little while.
If you have 3 trucks and 2 other drivers, go into the Truck Manager screen and keep switching trucks with the other drivers. When you switch, it should say "It'll take X hours to switch to this truck." or something similar. Keep doing this until both the trucks are "Idle" or enough time has passed.
Seems to me that time is NOT passing when you are stationary on the street (es. At traffic light, or just idle in the street). That time pass very slow when you are on urban street, and faster on the highway.I guess, but not sure, that time passing is connected with your speed.
I timed it at multiple speeds, seems 10 minutes game time takes two and a half minutes real time at standstill, if you are driving 10 minutes game time passes in just 30 seconds, 5 times as fast. don't know if it slows further if you stand still for longer. Or exactly what happens if you drive in a very tight circle, at first it seemed the 30 seconds later 2.5 minutes
As these two friends said, I have not taken the exam, but I can roughly know what the situation is in reality. It's true that in case of a car accident or other things in the game, you can use F7 or file reading to solve the problem, but the reality is completely different!
You need to practise on your reaction when somebody is driving like crazy, and depend on where are they, the distance, and what will possibly their next steps. Against that, what do you need to do and prepare.
Last but not least, in real world, people wouldn't drive as crazy as in TruckersMP. You have unlimited lives in TruckersMP but 1 in real life, so probably people tends to go safe to take good care of their lives.
While driving in this game is much different the more you play it the more it actually does help you when it comes to IRL. Especially in terms of simulation servers, if you drive in more busy areas it helps you to gain a sense of everything you need to look for such as traffic lights, signage, other vehicles, dangers and so much more.
I would say that depending on your game settings and setup, ETS2 can give you a sense of driving in irl which can help with passing driving tests. For me, I was already traveling a lot via road with my family so even though I wasn't driving, I still had a sense of what it felt when I was getting my hours for my license so I can't say for sure if ETS2 or ATS helped me in that matter. However, I do have to say that with my wheel and large monitor setup, the immersion that it provides has helped me gain a sense of where I need to look when turning, judging gaps in spacing for turns and lane changes, as well as hazard detection with all of the crazy drivers both in AI for singleplayer and TMP. While I would definitely not rely fully on ETS2/ATS experience as driving in real life is different and requires lots of practice, if given the opportunity, I would use it as a way to get extra practice and experience with the things I mentioned before but be aware that even with that the feeling of having the car that you're in control of in motion does change things especially when first starting out to drive.
For anyone wondering, I am a licensed driver now in the USA and did pass my test so I'm mainly speaking from my own experience here.
I haven't even started driving lessons yet, but I think it really can help in the theory part, for example the sign knowledge and all this stuff, but driving in reallife will be completely different from driving a truck simulator.
Thanks to Ets2, I was able to pass the driver's license exam easily. Since I have 1900 hours of Ets2, I learned how to drive, all the signs in the game on the road, so I had no difficulty in the exam.
I played the game on keyboard for several years and I can say without doubt that it helped me on my motorcycle and car license. (Also took my dad's MB Atego for a ride and it was surprisingly easy for me)
Yes, thanks to games such as ets2 and city car, my steering control has improved a lot. This is the most important thing in the driving exam and the inspectors pay attention to it. Playing these games contributes to the learning of traffic rules. But i want to suggest never compare it to real experience. The vehicle you drive, the condition of the traffic, the weather or even the type of road can affect your driving. Do not miss your driving lessons. Drive safely!

Xbox Game Pass Core is Microsoft's first tier for Game Pass, and includes online multiplayer services (formerly known as Xbox Live Gold). Xbox Game Pass Core contains a small library of titles, designed to give users a taste of the full-blown Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service.
This is the list of games included as part of Xbox Game Pass for consoles. This is the primary offering for Xbox One and Xbox Series XS players, and includes far more games than Xbox Game Pass Core. However, this tier doesn't include online multiplayer. If you need online multiplayer and want this list, it's most cost-effective to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
PC Game Pass is a separate service, owing to the fact that PC games on Windows don't have a paywall to play online multiplayer. Also many of the games here are simply fully exclusive to PC, designed to be played with a keyboard and mouse, although many of the games here also support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning you can take your save file with you whether you're playing on a PC, an Xbox, or on a mobile device via cloud.
Xbox Game Pass cloud games (also known as xCloud) are available only with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Game Pass Core, Console, and PC in one $15 per month package. This is the most cost-effective subscription for users who are very embedded in the Microsoft gaming ecosystem.
You can access Xbox Game Pass cloud games via any modern web browser via Xbox.com/play, or using the Xbox Game Pass app on Windows 10, Windows 11, Google Play or the Galaxy Store on Android. A lot of the games here also support touch controls, and the save files will sync to and from your Xbox console (and your PC as well if the game supports Xbox Play Anywhere, although you can just play the cloud version on your PC as well). All xCloud versions are in fact the Xbox console version, as the cloud servers are based on Xbox console architecture.
