Issues with Arturia Beatstep

I just picked up a Beatstep because I thought it looked like a great solution to be paired with MIDI2LR

I am having all sorts of issues with this thing. 

I assigned three knobs to different functions to test it out. Temperature, tint, and exposure. as well as a pad fro next and previous photo.

With multiple tests and different images, I am getting no consistent results. Some times I can adjust just only the temp. Some times the temp and the exposure works, sometimes nothing at all but the pads function. The tint adjustment never works, and the temp adjustment is limited within a certain range. 

Even within the same session, I have inconsistent issues, I'' make adjustments to the temp and exposure on one image, go to the next and onlt temp works, go to the next and nothing

Has anyone else tried this controller? I would really appreciate any help I can get to make this work.

I have updated the firmware on the Beatstep and now the tint is adjustable. I am also getting the full range of adjustments with the sliders. I am still getting inconsistent functionality between photos though. First image, all three adjustments work. Go to the next, they may or may not. Sometimes they take a second before the sliders. Go back to the previous photo, now only one adjustment can be made. Very odd.

I hope there will be an update come to fix this issue. I like the Beatstep more than the XT mini (more encoder and buildquality).

I sometimes have the same issue with my TouchOSC UI on my tablet (screensots: http://midi2lr.mathieu.photography/). When I switch to a new page, the sliders are not updated.

That's why I added a MIDI button at the bottom that is mapped to "FullRefresh", in case I have the issue. Perhaps you can also map the buttons switching pages to FullRefresh ? But I yes there is an issue here anyway...

I have discovered that the issue is the encoder knobs not updating their position. You have to bring them up to the position of the setting in the next image before adjustments can be made. Or I can switch off pickup mode. Both of these are pretty annying. I chose the beatsep for the encoder knobs so I wouldn't have to move them before making adjustments, and it's even worse since you can not see what level that are turned to. 

I'll be trying out that TouchOSC app next

I just got done setting up TouchOSC. Seems as though some of those settings might need to be updated, but it does work much nicer. Even though you don't get physical knobs, it's still better than using the Beatstep.

After I set up the TouchOSC, I decided to try your FullRefresh setting on the Beatstep. Id did not work out as I had hoped it would, but something had changed somewhere. LR now displays what the knob position is on over the image. Now I can turn it to where it needs to be and start making adjustments. I'm not sure what changes made this happen, but it makes the beatstep actually usable.

I think I will stick to the TouchOSC app though. It's just much nicer to have every single adjustment available as a fader at your fingertips in the familiar LR layout.

I also noticed with the beatstep, sometimes the adjustments will not be a smooth action. They can be quite erratic. Has anyone else noticed this? 

A little side note on the TouchOSC setup, I noticed that the yellow saturation will jump to -100 if I attempt to bump it up at all. I haven't noticed this anywhere else.

Do you still have the refresh issue ? I do not have it anymore with TouchOSC. A lto of things have been changed since this time so I am going to close the issue concerning the refresh not working well except if you still have it.

I have Arturia Beatstep. It started work unproperly. Then turning knobs the CC numer just "jumps"... for example, by turning knob for 1 step cc number from 0 goes to 50, then to 100 ... 127... Any ideas?
