Arturia Beatstep setup

Hello, I am new to the midi world. I got a used Arturia Beatstep very cheap after I found out about MIDI2LR.

I am having some problems setting it up though for example:

- I can't seem to fine adjust the color temp, it just jumps in increments of 378 degrees.
- When I got to the next image I have to move the knob back and forth to adjust settings, I guess this has to do with the position the nob is in, is there any fix to that?

Other than that, it works great.
Are there any other controllers that will work better without the issues mentioned above, I can just sell this one for the same price that I got it.

I believe your controller has endless encoder knobs? See if you can configure them to send relative CC messages instead of absolute 0-127 range. Then in the MIDI2LR app you need to select the appropriate relative CC message type and change the resolution value according to the parameter range you're adjusting. I am using XTouch-Mini, which is a very inexpensive controller, and it works brilliantly with relative CC messages. I select high enough resolution value so that I can do very fine adjustments with slow turn of a knob. Then by faster turns I can do coarser adjustments since the controller actually sends larger increment/decrement values to the app and basically accelerates the adjustment.

When using multiple profiles, there is still one issue with relative CC messages that hopefully gets solved at some point. That issue is discussed in this thread: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/midi2lr/wH6Bhz7iF20

Yes, I have an Option for CC number, I chose "0 - Bank Select MSB"

not sure what that means, but I get much more fine control :D

Im sorry, but everytime I restart the computer I get the keys and knobs as unmapped, do you know hot to fix this?

Did you save the profile? After that You have to save the profilefolder destination in the settings, or you have to save the profile in the lr folder
