Plugin has been working fine for a long time. Today, I open LR, and the plugin didn't load the midi2lr window as usual. I tried manually opening the .exe file, but nothing happens. I deleted the plugin folder, reinstalled, restarted computer, etc, nothing works. No crashes, no errors in system event viewer, no anti virus warnings, etc. But the midi2lr app works perfectly fine on my 2nd workstation running the exact same hardware, windows, and software versions. So it's only not working on the 1 workstation PC. But I can't figure it out. The .exe file just refuses to open the program at all, with no warnings, no errors, no explanations. I did try new catalog, didn't help. Reinstall of LR didn't help. What the heck lol.

Yes I am using latest lightroom 10 version. And latest midi2lr plugin version. I'm using a berhringer midi controller on both workstations. I also checked task manager, it doesn't show the program running there either

another program of mine is also doing the same thing, but it seems they have found a fix and updated their app

So I think it is related to a recent windows 10 update that has broken some apps.

ok, actually i fixed it by doing a completely clean reinstall of the midi2lr app by deleting AppData\Roaming\MIDI2LR ..... some file in there somehow became corrupted??? Maybe because my electricity went out in a thunderstorm while midi2lr was open
