Hi Dany,

it worked fine, but after few restarts it started doing wonky stuff. It stopped recognizing my keystrokes and after updating to the newest version it stopped recognizing my controller and I have to hit "rescan MIDI devices" for it to get the signal
So my answer is - kinda
and I use the newest version of LR

EDIT:
made it work again, HOWEVER I would not update, or at least not yes, as HW acceleration is not usable anymore on full scale:

going back to high sierra...

I've lost keystrokes after updating to Mojave.  The only keystroke I use (and regularly) was to apply previous.

I couldn't seem to get it working with Midi2LR continually crashing.

I've reinstalled keyboard maestro and have that executing the keystroke for me after taking it out of midi2lr all together.

A super simple little snippet thing.  Keyboard Maestro detected the button press on the midiboard so it was dead simple to set the keystroke I wanted.  Cute little feature to force the keystroke is applied in LR too.

Happy days, it works so a handy solution for the time.

I've recently run into a load of weird problems with my setup, happened around a week after updating to Mojave.  Do you think MIDI2LR will update this was I too could not use the latest version?

I am using older version, that was the first thing as the newest version was not working at all, I had to press rescan MIDI devices first every time I started midi2lr.
Second thing is, if you want to do some keystrokes, Mac will ask you to grant permissions to midi2lr for accessibility and you have to grant it
The problem with that is, Mojave seems to forget the permission, so I have to remove it and restart midi2lr to ask for the permission again so I can use my keystrokes

Will see what the newest version of LR will do on mojave a it seems to work again fine

I've also lost a ton of functionality since updating to Mojave. James, the keystroke maestro suggestion has been so helpful! One question - I've also lost the ability to switch between profiles using the midi board - any suggestions on how to make that work in the meantime? Is there a keyboard stroke I could assign to bring up a profile?

I should have added I'm running Midi2lr 2.9.5.0  and version 7.2 LR CC Classic (which is an older build).  Switching between profiles is working normally - the only thing I noticed that wasn't working was keystrokes issue mentioned above.

I'll update LR over the next few weeks once I've got through a pile of editing.  Midi2LR working nicely with the midiboard is a big part of my workflow so I normally sit happy with a build of LR working nicely with Midi2LR and don't risk upsetting a happy relationship whilst I'm super busy.  IIRC it was the jump between 7.2 and 7.3 where there was a change in how colour profiles were handled within presets.  I'll report back if I have any issues when updating LR.  I shouldn't have update to Mojave but that dark mode sucked me in!! :-p

I think you're right, Mojave has messed things up for me also, everything was ok for a few days after installing Mojave then things went downhill :(  Also now it's a PIA to downgrade away from Mojave.  But It's is probably going to be worth the effort to get full functionality back of MIDI2LR.

Just to let people know I downgraded back to High Sierra and now my x-Touch and MIDI2LR is working perfectly.

Ciao,

I'm using OS X 10.14.1, MIDI2LR 2.9.5.0, with LR CC 7, works fine.

I upgraded and like others I cannot use the keyboard shortcuts.  Really annoyed as I use the Paste Previous option a lot.

I've never upgraded MIDI2LR since v. 2.7.0.4 and it has worked for me on all LR updates an OS X updates, but in mojave the only thing that doesn't work is keyboard shortcuts, which makes copy, paste, mask overlay, and any other keyboard shortcut commands useless.

Here is what I found:

The first time that I opened Lightroom after updating to Mojave and I used a keyboard shortcut in Midi2LR, OS-x Mojave asked me to give MIDI2LR permission to control my mac (privacy and security) and my commands worked perfectly, then I closed LR and opened it again to work in another catalogue and then my shortcuts stopped working, so following Tomás Danco's (sorry my keyboard doesn't have the accentuated characters) advice I decided to try and delete the permission after that I opened LR again and as soon as I use a keboard shortcut (in MIDI2LR) I get asked again to grant permission and it works again, the real pain is that I have to do this every single time I'm going to open LR so it's quite cumbersome but it's still a workaround.

Yo have to make sure though to delete the permission by pressing th "-" at the bottom for it to ask you again, if you just deactivate the permission by deselecting the check mark it won't work.

Hope this helps everyone with this problem at least until apple corrects this because it seems to be an OS problem that it doesn't remember the permission.

I'm Using MAC OS-X Mojave 10.14 LR CC Classic 8.0 and MIDI2LR 2.7.0.4 (because I've never been able to make newer versions work)

I've suddenly had the Copy and paste Buttons lose functionality, strange as they were working in Mojave perfectly. The button presses are registering in MIDILR, but there is no action in Lightroom. Even clearing prefs and updating to the latest version of CC.

Anyone else had a sudden loss of function?

I've reproduced the same sequence, key works only the first time.

Try closing LR then going into os-x settings->Privacy and security->and erase Midi2lr permission to control computer, then open LR again and try to use copy, see if you get a pop-up asking you to grant MIDI2LR permission to control your Mac, then give it permission again, and see if it has any effect, if this works then you should have in mind that you must do this step by step every time you AR going to start LR, it's quite annoying but it brings functionality back.

Doesn't make any difference at all. Im now running V8 of LR Classic CC. Apparently there are also issues with Loupedeck running on Mojave as well. ope this gets sorted as I don't really want to lose the functionality of the deck I'm using with Midi2LR

Did you delete the permission or did you just unchecked it? Because for me it works only if I fully delete the permission and not if I uncheck it.

That did work when I deleted it. Midi2LR however then closed down as soon as I tried another shortcut - Editing in PS. Restarting the Midi2LR resulted in it going back to not working.

Thanks for the tip

I ended up downgrading back to OS High Sierra.  This is just an editing machine and the MIDI2LR/x-Touch combo is such a time saver that I'll wait until it's fixed.  Since going back everything is working perfectly.  I'm also using v2.7.0.4 as the latest v2.9 gave me errors.

The latest version of MIDI2LR addresses the permissions issues with Mojave. https://github.com/rsjaffe/MIDI2LR/wiki#installation has instructions and https://github.com/rsjaffe/MIDI2LR/releases/tag/v3.0.0.11 is the latest version
