Hi all,

after being an avid user of MIDI2LR for almost two years now I felt it's time to give something back to the community besides monetary donations.

Part 1: Introduction and comparison with other solutions: http://www.aperturized.com/…/controlling-lightroom-through…/

Part 2: How to find the perfect controller: http://www.aperturized.com/…/controlling-lightroom-through…/

Part 3: My MIDI2LR setup: http://www.aperturized.com/…/lightroom-with-midi-controlle…/

Hope there is something useful for you in these articles.

Thank you very much for all your hard work, Rorry!

Best regards,
Carsten

Hi Carsten

First of all, thanks for sharing...
Your setup is very complete and I'm going to analyse it in detail.
You have functions that I'm trying to include in my layout based on G Dawdle/J. Naim
I believe that I will use your options in Crop Profile...

Like you I will give back my final layout

Thanks again

Hi Carsten. First of all, thank you for your fantastic work. I noticed that when I press the buttons are off: is it correct or should I change something?

Hi Giuseppe, do you mean that the button is not lighted after pressing it (but it lights up, while you press it)?

Then yes, this is perfectly correct. To keep the buttons lighted you would have to switch the button modes to toggle in the controller's software, but this does not work well with MIDI2LR.

The current version will definitely not work with Lightroom 5.x. However there were earlier versions that supported Lightroom 5. So you will have to download an earlier version. I cannot tell you however since which version Lightroom 5 works. Also my configuration may not work with this old version of MIDI2LR.
