NRPN problem

Hi all,

I have been using MIDI2LR v2.7.0.4 with LR CC2015 for quite a while now, with Temp and Tint in NRPN config. so I can finetune better.

The problem upgrading to any higher version is that I can not set up more than one knob in NRPN, they just do nothing when I have more than one, so I went back to 2.7.0.4 and

the problem was gone, I can have as many as I want.

 I use a BCF2000 and a BCR2000, the NRPNs in the latter.

Hi all,

i purchased an Arturia Beatstep to use with midi2lr.

Unfortunatly when i beat on a pad (depending on the strength) this not
fire the command in LR.

I've seen that a value less 80 means no fire, else this send the command.

There is a possibility in midi2lr to solve my issue ?

I have installed 3.1.0.4 and 3.2.0.0 and the issue is still there, if I dial a knob in NRPN mode is OK but if I dial another one after in NRPN mode too then MIDI2LR crashes!
Version 2.7.0.4 works great with more than a knob in NRPN

Could you post a copy of the settings.xml file and the last run in the MIDI2LR.log?

If you are using Windows, both files are in %appdata%\MIDI2LR (type that address in the file explorer address bar). If MacOS, the log is in ~/Library/Logs/MIDI2LR and the xml file is in ~/Library/Application Support/MIDI2LR.

Quite a complex setup! Could you download and install a debug version of MIDI2LR, then run and crash it, then post the MIDI2LR.log for the crashed session, along with telling me which knob you were adjusting when it crashed? Thanks

The main changes between 2.7.0.4 and current that are probably related to your issue are

1. Errors in addressing arrays and other data structures are much more likely to be detected and cause errors--which is a good thing for computer security and program reliability.
2. Improved handling of multiple near-simultaneous messages.

This is why I can't just look at the two versions to figure out what's going on. The basic data structures, math, etc., are unchanged.

One last try, if you're willing: download and replace MIDI2LR.exe with the contents of this zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p8jg444ck1vyh7r/MIDI2LR1.zip?dl=0

If this doesn't work, I'm going to have to sit back and carefully review the program. Without being able to replicate the bug, it's hard to figure it out, though I had my guesses.

If it crashes, please post the contents of MIDI2LR.log for the last run. And then you can go back to using the older version while I think this over.
