Version 3.4.2.0 is ready for beta testing. Just download the installer from here:  windows installer and MacOS installer. Please respond with results of your testing, whether it works or not. Particularly interested in MacOS experience.

New Features
  • Now has 5 proportional crop controls: upper-left corner, upper-right corner, lower-left corner, lower-right corner, all corners equally. Manipulating the knob will move the crop boundaries but moves are calculated to retain the current aspect ratio.
  • Interface has changed. Application now shows full name of the action you've mapped to a particular control, translated into your language. This makes it easier to identify the results of your mapping, and is particularly useful for those who do not use the latin alphabet (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), for whom the abbreviations were meaningless.
  • Added more profile choices on Options menu.
  • Added more repeating key commands.
Bug Fixes
  • Some people were having "missing dll" errors in windows.
  • On first run, some options were not set in the Options dialog.
  • Local preset labels were not aligned.
  • On first run, profile directory not set after loading the first profile.
  • Autotone would not automatically reveal the basic settings panel after use.
  • Quick crop would not activate the crop tool after use.
Improvements
  • Start/stop server is now renamed to a clearer: start/stop application.
  • Sped up critical areas in application.

Hello, noticed a malfunction, at the moment in the Exposure change. When you rotate the knob, the midi2lr has a new digit, but the value in Lightroom does not change.

also in version 3,4,2,0  when click QuickDevCropAsp, CropOverlay is additionally opened - this is not entirely convenient, since CropOverlay has to be hidden for next other changes.

Thanks for the reports. I believe both issues are fixed in 3.4.3.0. See https://github.com/rsjaffe/MIDI2LR/releases.

No, Adobe doesn't make that available to application developers.

I usually start with selecting all images, turn on autosync. Open crop mode. Turn contrain crop on. Then disable autosync again.

You could also use keyboard maestro to map a key command to click on that checkbox with mouse xy position or 'click on image' command. Then map midi2lr to that keycommand.

Is it possible to reverse the behaviour on the proportonal crop controls?
When you turn an encoder to the right ( with left top, left bottom ) you would expect both to crop from left to right.
And when you turn an encoder to the left ( with right top, right bottom) you would expect it to crop from right to left.
Currently this is not the case.
