Available at https://github.com/rsjaffe/MIDI2LR/releases.

Bug fixes

  • Occasional crash could occur on MacOS when sending shortcut keys when application is not authorized to send keystrokes.
  • Texture ignored in local adjustments presets.

Improvements

  • Increased number of available Series of Actions to 16 from 9.
  • Sped up NRPN control responsiveness. Lightroom should be much more snappy when responding to certain commands using NRPN (e.g., rotation) that required significant amount of calculations by Lightroom.
  • Many translations now based on Microsoft Language Portal standard translations for applications.
  • Lightroom help menu now has MIDI2LR help options under Help→Plug-in Extras.
  • Graduated Filter, Radial Filter, and Spot Removal show actions now work better and open the associated panel for the tool (Lightroom 7.4 and later only).
  • Trying to apply a develop-only action when another module is open is now applied after automatic switch to develop module.

New actions

  • Increase/decrease star rating using a knob. Rotating knob clockwise to add stars, counterclockwise to subtract stars.
  • Change star rating using a slider. Moving the slide assigns a star rating based on how high the slider is: lowest is 0, highest is 5. This works well for non-motorized sliders.
  • Available number of profiles increased from 10 to 18.
  • Close MIDI2LR app.

Other changes

  • Change interprocess communication protocol handler.
  • Updated Juce framework.
  • Improved logging.
  • Lots of behind-the-scenes stability improvements.

Graduated Filter, Radial Filter, and Spot Removal hide toggle doesn't work for me anymore. For example - Click - reveals Radial Filter - Click again and nothing happens. Previous versions a second click hides the panel. Adjustment brush and Crop overlays work fine on Hide toggle , but those 3 do not. Maybe settings changed that I need to toggle? or bug? Will revert to previews version for now. Everything else feels snappy, thank you

That was a design decision that I may have to revisit.

Under Develop, the last available command is Primary Display Loupe. Mapping that to another button would allow you to back out of the brush or filter view. Another way is to just use an edit control that's not a brush or filter edit. That should also change the view.

I noticed this issue as well as I use the healing tool.  I haven't tried this yet, but couldn't you create a new keyboard shortcut that simply calls the command you want... in my case the "Q" button to show/hide the healing tool.  Then map the keyboard shortcut to a button on the controller.

I'm putting out a new release this morning that will fix the issue.
