Hey everyone,

today I bought a Behringer X-Touch Mini and I just can't make it work with MIDI2LR 1.4.0.0. :(
Mapping works great, but it doesn't connect with LR (.
I use Lightroom CC 2015.7 on macOS Sierra 10.12.

Could macOS Sierra be the problem? Also, I run a Local Web Server on localhost. Could this be a problem with the ports 58763 and 58764?

Thank you in advance!

Best,
Franz

Everything seems working, I can do the mapping but MIDI2 LR is always in red "notconnected to LR " ...

First check that the firewall isn't blocking the ports. This problem has been seen before. MIDI2LR uses ports 58763 and 58764 on localhost (127.0.0.1) to communicate between the application and the plugin.
Second, check that the plugin is properly installed in LR and is running (File -> Plugin Manager).

The plugin is properly installed/running and my firewall is completely turned off as well… Do you have any other idea?

Might be silly but have you tried another USB cable? I am also running Sierra and Lightroom CC connected to a X-Touch Mini with no issues.

"not connected to LR" error is not caused by MIDI controller problems .

There has to be a configuration issue in your computer, as others are able to get it to work.

Do you have other applications that might be using that port?

Not solved? I have exactly the same problem but don't know how to open my ports

I already had on Sierra such issues with firewall was blocking a program even on the local interface.
I could be wrong in this case, but to test this hypothesis you can go to system preferences and then firewall. Try turn off the firewall and test again. If it works, then try reactivating the firewall, but click on firewall options to add the MIDI2LR and Lightroom programs in the list.

I guess I have the same problem.
I am on a new Imac with Sierra and firewall is off. I tried turning it on and added LR and Midi2LR to the list so they are allowed.

Not sure what to do

thanks for making this!! it looks really promising :-)

Cheers,
Mark

Could someone with a Mac and Sierra debug this? I don't have a Mac. Thanks.
