Hercules DJ Console RMX

Hi,

I just tried your plugin with this quite old device

and most of it works very fine. Still figureing out a nice mapping for me.

I am wondering if anyone tried similar devices from Hercules?

There is one issue that popped up: the 2 big scratch dials/wheels are sending many MIDI values of  "0" or "127" for every step of angle and per direction, so you can get rotation speed and direction but no absolute position.

Is this behaviour interpreted and usabale with midi2lr?

Next question is, can I make on/off buttons have a state? what about the LED behind a button? can this be used and controlled?

First, we're reserving github for active coding plans, and keeping the discussions here. Github became too unwieldy for discussions.

The two wheels sound like they are sending differential messages--two's complement. We have a beta test going on for supporting that: read https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/midi2lr/-ZaWlQp_AbE if you are interested.

Currently, on/off buttons can't have a state, they must be toggle off, and we can't yet control LEDs. Changing that would be very challenging, but we'll keep it in mind for the future.
