Hi,

I am really excited about the prospect of using MIDI2LR but have had some issues. I am using the Behringer BCR2000 to operate. All seems fine apart from when I click the Plug-in Extras/Options tab.
I get a dialog that says An internal error has occurred: [string "Limits.lua":53: attempt to index global 'ProgramPreferences' (a nil value). This then crashes lightroom.

I was able only to access Plugin Options Dialog first time and could set presets but it crashes every time since.

I am using windows 10 64 bit.

I hope someone can help.

Cheers
Mo

OK, that may be a bug in the preferences code. Try selecting a raw image in the develop module, then restart MIDI2LR: In LR, File->Plugin Manager. Then open the plugin options dialog for MIDI2LR and press the save button. Things should be ok after that.

I've tried your suggestion numerous times but I still get the same error and crashes lightroom.

Is anyone else having this problem?

For further help, please answer the following questions:
1. What operating system are you using?
2. Which version LR?
3. What directory is the plugin installed in?
If you open LR without the plugin, what module are you starting up in and is a picture selected? If a picture is selected, what type of file is the picture?

Hi, I've managed to get it working again and so far so good. I achieved this by removing the Lightroom 6 Preferencess.agprefs file and restarted Lr. I clicked Plug-in Extras/Options tab and the optioms dialog box now appears.

I'm not sure if your suggestion would have worked but I'll keep an eye on this and report back if I have further issues. If you need any more info then please let me know and thanks so much for getting back to me.

Hello,

I'm facing the same problem here.
[string "Limits.lua"]:53: attempt to index global 'ProgramPreferences' (a nil value)

I'm using Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.10.1 (last version to date) on a Macintosh running Sierra 10.12.5, localized in French.
I tried to launch the menu for options (Plug-in Extras / Options), and I get the crash.

I was never able to access those options.

The directory is :
/user/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules

I tried putting it in different folders, but same result.

Would you have any idea ?

Thank you!

Cheers,
J

Folks,
I have the exact same problem. I am running version 2.9.5 of midi2lr  and LR CC version 2015.8 on Windows 10, 64 bit.

Deleting the file "Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs" and even the other one - "Lightroom 6 Startup Preferences.agprefs" does NOT help.
No matter what I do, I am not able to open the options of midi2lr. I have tried version 2.8 also, same problem :-(

Please help!
