Hello,
is here anybody who went through this problem before?  I bought X-touch mini.  Installed MIDI2LR and it all apperas to be fine.  MIDI2LR is on my screen, says it is connected to LR.  Problem is that I can move with any controller I want, but there is no reaction from the controller in LR.  I tried to connect it to different ports, restart LR several times, restarted MIDI2LR, but it looks like the controller is not talking to the app (or vice versa).  Spent already hours on this, but nothing.
To test it, I also downloaded LRControll, and though I did not buy it, it is supposed to work for 10 minutes as a trial.  No reaction as well.

My installation of Midi2LR: downloaded, unzipped, saved in module folder in LR folder. Connected Xtouch, started lightroom.  The app starts automatically.  Says it is connected.  Moving with all the buttons like there is no tomorrow, and nothing.

Any advice?

Thank you!

You might have gotten a bum controller. Make sure all of your drivers are installed and up to date by going to Behringer's site and downloading/installing them.

Well, when I download the software for Xtouch mini, it has "audio software", Effects, Hosts, instruments.  It does not say anything about a driver.  Further, some websites say no driver needed. Did you install a driver on windows? If so, from where?
Thanks!

One of three things is probably wrong:

  1. Something with the controller is messed up. Is it plugged in to power and to the usb port? (Don't laugh, I had this problem once--drove me nuts for a few minutes.) Is it broken? Will it work with other xtouch software?
  2. Driver is missing. Check your documentation about that.
  3. Something else is running that interferes with communication. This could be another midi program, for example, if you're running a program that came with the xtouch (and the program is not just a driver), it will claim ownership of the xtouch data stream and MIDI2LR won't see it.
Not a complete list, but good to start with these.
