Dear Midi2LR users

I bought a Behringer X-touch Mini but have a problem in getting this device working with Midi2LR and Lightroom.

I have succesfully upgraded  Lightroom 5 to version 6. I have installed Midi2LR.

The X-Touch Mini is connected correctly. Button Layer A is lighting aswell as the stripes of all of the turningknobs.

After starting Midi2LR I get the red message  "not connected to LR”

In the pulldownsection in Lightroom about Plug-in management (I don’t know the correct word in English) I get de message “Installed but not working”

According to advice in FAQ’s

Before trying to debug this, check your Lightroom version. MIDI2LR only runs on Lightroom 6/CC or later. Then, check your firewall. MIDI2LR uses ports 58763 and 58764 on localhost (127.0.0.1) to communicate between the application and the plugin.

I closed the Firewall, I uninstalled Midi2LR, restarted the PC and installed and started Midi2LR for the second time.

Again I get exactly the same messages in Lightroom en Midi2LR.

I don’t have any idea what I could or should do with “ports 58763 and 58764 on localhost (127.0.0.1)”

Can anybody help me out of this problem.

To exclude that noothing is blockint those ports you should check if you can connect to that IP with those ports.
The easiest way is via telnet.

from the dos prompt launch these 2 commands :
telnet 127.0.0.1 58763
telnet 127.0.0.1 58764

On Windows Telnet is not installed by default, but is part of Windows. You have to add the Telnet client via Windows features in the Program and Features option in the control panel.

Also, are you running any other MIDI programs or drivers?
