Hi,

What do you use the big non-motorized sliver slider for?  Since it is non-motorized, I wouldn't want to use it for most slider functions.  But I was thinking I could use it as a toggle (example: toggle the L key for lightsout mode, but can't figure out how to do that.

What do you use it for?

thanks!

It can be done but it does not really offer much help.
The slider (FADER) has the type ControlChange (CC9/CC10) with a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of 127.
You can assign a Key to the fader that will be fired when the fader is set to maximum but you must return the slider to 0
because buttons need to toggle for use by MIDI2LR.
Can be done but I do not think it will make you very happy.

Thanks for your replied.  For it to work for me, I had to set the fader value to 125-127 using the Behringer program.  I got it to cycle between the various lightsout settings.  But you are correct, I wasn't happen with how it worked because it was not consistent.

Great idea Charles! I'll try it out, though I'd love to be able to cycle through the library view modes. I wonder if it can be done.
Right now I set the slider, depending on profile, to be used for fine temperature adjustment, or balance in split toning (since it starts always with 0, this is actually very useful for me, though i don't do much split toning)

Any developments with the slider? I've often wondered how it could be used.
