Lightroom CC Classic support?

Adobe just released a new Lightroom CC and rebranded the old Lightroom Classic CC. Will the new Lightroom CC (the cloud based one) be supported by MIDI2LR. Does the new cloud based Lightroom even fully support plugins?

No, it doesn't support third-party plugins. There is no SDK for it.

Lightroom Classic CC works great with MISI2LR - no problems there.
Lightroom CC doesn't.
But it is two different programms.

The cloud-base LR doesn’t support plugins currently. LR Classic still does, but they haven’t yet released the new SDK, so it’s hard to tell what’s happening with the MIDI2LR problems. I’m on vacation and will return to working on this in about two weeks. In the meantime, clear descriptions of what is working and what is not would be helpful. Also, anyone can write code for this open project, so if any of you find fixes (it will be in the Lua code, not the C++ code), can push that to the github repository.

Hello, Yesterday i updated Lr CC  with Lr classic CC, in the same way i added an old version of midi2lr and i upgraded with the last 2.3.0.1.

the connection between LR & midi2lr works, but the faders dont remotely control LR, except for tint, saturation, vibrance... I try to make news settings but unfortunately they don't work..

I'm disapointed, and i have a lot of work to do, please help me !!

LrControl plugin developer had found the following problem in the latest Lightroom release (I received this info in e-mail):

LrControl works with the new Lightroom Classic CC only if you are using English, German or Swedish as the interface language.

In all other languages, Lightroom does not respond properly to commands from the LrControl plug-in. Only a few functions work.

It's probably the same reason why MIDI2LR doesn't work for some people but works fine for others.

I am using English interface language and MIDI2LR works fine with LR Classic CC (on Windows 10).

I use Japanese version LR.

I assign functions.

Previous Photo or Next Photo etc is OK.

but exposure or Temperature doesn't work.

MIDI2LR record in history window, only.

yes I think LR classic work too.

Yes. That's a Lightroom bug that Adobe is working on fixing.

Reported the bug as requested. Can't for the life of me figure out why my Behringer xtouch mini won't interface. The lights on the dials change, but nothing happens to my images. It shows the server working, The GUI shows values changing, I've tried opening the ports in my firewall...other suggestions? Thanks!

Apologies, I tested only halve the faders i use. Sharpening Amount, Noise Reduction Luminance, Dehaze and Angle faders are working in Dutch. Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks and Clarity are not working in Dutch. These are faders I've assigned.

Today my AKAI MIDIMIX has arrived at my home, and today I have configured the plugin MiDi2LR. Almost all controls work, except those of the basic module. My language is Spanish, if I pass it to English the pluging work. Forgive my audacity, but I wonder if at some point this will be solved? I would like to have it in Spanish. If not, you may decide to return the AKAI to Amazon (well, first I'll try it for a few days). Regards

My LR is the new Classic version. CC suported de MiDI2LR except the basic module (exposure, contrast,...) in spanish, don't work
