Hello,

First, I'm using Studio One. I also have Sonar X2 and X3 but I've mostly gone to Studio One.

Can Shape Shifter be used to control a track?

For example I'd like to control the volume of a track with an LFO for a tremolo effect. How would it be mapped?

Or how about if I wanted to use it to control a midi controllable parameter of an instrument - filter cutoff or whatever. Again, how would you go about mapping for such a use?

Yeah this should be possible. From MSS you would have to create a generator and then create a mapping that maps that generator to some CC output. I'm not familiar with Studio One but I did come across this tutorial that covers how to map the MIDI output of a different MIDI plugin to Studio One http://www.cableguys.de/midi-shaper-studio-one.html . Should be pretty similar for MSS.

I'll attach a sample MSS program that generates some tremolo and maps it to CC7.
tremelo to cc7.mssp
