Read thru all the Wii threads and found nothing. Tried using my new
Rocker LX last nite with my new Yamaha DTX530K (DTX500 module). I
have ByteArt midi cable from DTX to LX, USB cable from LX to Wii. LX
defaults to M2 when connected to Wii and per instructions, it won't
change to M1. LEDs light up when I strike drums, but Wii doesn't
recognize with RB game loaded. So I run the other ByteArt midi cable
from midi out on LX to GH drums midi in and same thing - leds on LX
light up but Wii with GHWT does not recognize. I am sure I have
missed something simple and have read directions 3 times - so what
have I missed? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to not reply sooner. With the MIDI OUT option, the LX always
boots up in "passthrough" mode with Map 2 selected -- the USB
interface is disabled in this mode (it just uses the USB for power).
While in this mode, it is looking for notes coming into the MIDI IN
connector and then remapping them to the Guitar Hero values and
sending them out the MIDI OUT port.

To enable the USB interface, you need to hold down the BACK button
while connecting the LX to the Wii. It will then start up with Map 1
selected and act like a RB2 drum controller on the Wii.

Currently, it doesn't remember the last mode used, so you have to hold
down BACK everytime you plug it in if you want to play RB. I'm not
sure why I did it this way -- I thought there was a reason, but I
can't think what is was, so I'll go ahead and fix that in the next
firmware revision.

Cheers,
