Gday guys

Have had my midi LX for around 3 years now and its been great.  Heaps of fun and after I worked out how to use it properly, never missed a beat.

Recently lent my Rocker LX and drum set to a friend who is trying to help his slightly autistic 12 yo son (he's not too bad) by teaching him drums and I have no idea if its him doing something wrong or the Rocker is experiencing problems, but after a few songs he seems to manage to 'reprogram' the Rocker and it goes nuts, registering multiple hits / incorrect hits.

When I plug it into the GUI its easily fixed by recalling and saving the original note maps but I'm literally getting called up every day or so to fix it.  Driving me nuts.

The GUI shows me that whatever is happening, the individual toms / cymbals are being assigned additonal midi note registers (that conflict) - for instance, the ride cymbal will end up with note assignments for the crash as well as a tom and the snare (the conflicting nots show up in red in the individual columns), though its a different pattern each time I have to fix it.

Have installed the latest firmware but it still keeps happening.  Is it time for a new LX or is this kid somehow reprogramming the box from some pattern of hits, or the way he handles the LX?

Anyone else experiecned this as well?

You can reprogram without the software by holding the back button (not sure if it is the back button off the top of my head but it is the top of the three).
Could he be doing that?
Maybe you should hide the LX since you shouldn't need to touch it at all.
