Hi all,

My first post. Really impressed with Scott's piece of work. Really a
solid product, thanks!

Does anyone have a solution on how to make sure the controller comes
up as controller no 1 after PS3 reboot? Due to location of my kit, I
would like to have it come up all the way on the left side of the
screen when playing RB3 in multiplayer, but my controller always comes
up as 2. I can reassign it to 1, but after reboot it always comes back
to 2...

I googled this and tried disconnecting all other contollers, etc, with
no luck

Thanks,
Igor

Hi all

For me it's even more annoying, whenever I start my PS3, with the cable plugged or not, the kit come as controller No 5, and do not work on games (must be 1 to 4).
Not sure with it goes that way though.

Sounds like you have the whole Rock Band instrument set plugged in? Try unplugging the other controllers and post an update please?

I noticed that if I leave guitar dongles in, I get either number 3 or 4 on the Rocker but I can never get 1. Even if I reassign my standard PS3 controller to 2, I will get 1 for the Rocker, but only until the next reboot. Interestingly, when I owned RB Midi Pro adapter, it would always get 1... That is the only thing that Midi Pro was better at :) It does not come even close to Scott's Rocker!

That's interesting... I know that a while back Sony changed how the
controller assignments were done, and I haven't examined it since. I'm
in the middle of a big overhaul of the firmware and will look into
this issue again.

Part of the new firmware I'm working will let you use the MIDI Rocker
(LX or original) as a general-purpose MIDI-to-USB converter on your
Mac or PC so you can use it with software like Garage Band. I'll be
posting more information about this over the weekend and probably
release a beta version too. Got to do something to keep busy while the
Playstation Network is down :)
