Somehow Ubisoft is not aware, that their servers are down on AC Black Flag PS3. So we are trying now to make them aware and sending complaints out. Here is the link.
-DE/Games/4186?platform=38
The more players complain, the earlier they will reactivate their servers. Also Twitter them, when you can.
Be aware that the Ubisoft reps are taking no prisoners right now; there's a Discord full of boosters currently begging them to help, but all they do is counter with the blatant lie that everyone's routers are at fault. Ubi is demanding proof of people having done port forwarding before taking complaints any further, with this obviously not being the problem because it is affecting everyone around the world - even people who had no trouble accessing the multiplayer just fine on August 31st and even the morning of September 1st.

I am crossing my fingers for everyone, because it looks like I might have dodged this bullet; I am the last global achiever for All Rounder, which was the final online Trophy I needed. I sincerely hope I will lose this 'honour' before long.
EDIT; we have narrowed down the time of the servers going offline to around 14:54 GMT+1 (London time, just before 7 AM in LA and 10 AM in NYC). If the shutdown was done on purpose, it typically would have happened on the hour, so it's likely there was an error on Ubi's part rather than the plug being pulled with intent behind it. Might be worth noting this time in your responses to Ubi.
Thanks HaserPL for joining with the complaints. I'm one of the Discord Golem mentioned who's been trying to get Ubisoft's support to listen but as you'll know by now they just demand you prove it's not your connection and insist everything is fine. They insisted people are playing so I brought up no one registering trophies on here since the start of always seeing limited mode so they told me if trophies aren't working that is a Playstation problem. There's nothing wrong with the trophies when we can get into MP!
"Thank you for your patience. We are aware of the "limited mode" message and are actively investigating issues with connectivity for our PS3 players. While we have no updates at this time, we hope to have this resolved soon. Your report has been passed on to the dedicated teams, so that the provided information can be used to further look into the matter."
That's not multiplayer its earnt in single player. I've gotten 1 discovery in the time its been down and always have the connected icon, I'm no hacker lol so I don't understand how that works either while MP doesn't but it must be connected in a different way to whatever is causing the limited mode.
You're welcome I'm just here to say i just got sharing is caring while I still definitely can't get on mp other than limited mode, no one on my list is on black flag right now and I obviously couldn't do the going in and out of multiplayer help find the things trick. Others have said the kenway fleet is still working too but I'm not far enough in to know about that.
" We have therefore also started an internal investigation with our server administrators, who should be able to check the servers directly and find the reason for this issue. As this seems to be a server issue, the Ubisoft Support can only ask for your patience, until our server administrators have found a solution and corrected the issue in the server. "
That is, how you reach the core of the issue. And not through sitting all day long in front of a display of their computers. Like I said before, their tech guys = server administrators must start to move. And yay, finally they are doing it !!!
Not surprised. Ubisoft is gonna do anything to keep AC relevant for the next three or four years. Even if it means use other franchises within the company to do so.Ubisoft and AC are like the WWE and john cena (not many will get that) or like D.C. and Batman. You get where i'm going?
Spoiler: Highlight to view At the end of the game he takes you outt've the animus and says to you that he has been reborn into a human body. He's from the first civilization that you, the player should prepare for the second coming of juno. Then he injects you with something. And that's just saying the least of what he said.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which
Spoiler: Highlight to viewAs soon as they said "Sample 17", I just knew.
Watching the video feed of Desmond being harvested was disturbing. I really felt sick.
Listening to Desmond's recovered mobile recordings was tear-jerking.
The things Desmond knew from Clay's transfer is mind-blowing.
I love Shaun and Rebecca's undercover scenes.
THE PICTURES OF THE DES-CREW ON THEIR TRIPS! OH MY GOD! THERE WAS A F*CKING KITTEN!
So I just beat it.
That. Was. Crazy.
Like, it's an ending that made more sense than the endings of previous titles, but it was STILL CRAZY. And in some senses, it was even MORE insane, just in a more subtle and creepy way.
I was so startled I jumped in my seat near the end when;
Spoiler: Highlight to viewJuno's AI appeared in front of me in the large Server Room and tried to take over my body. Then Aita/John freaking out that it couldn't be done. Then him trying to kill me. Then the whole, "GUIDE US INTO THE GRAY, BELOVED!" The Gray... The Internet? In any case, I bought the whole Strategy Guide that has crazy amounts of AC4 Ending Analysis at the end of the book so I'll copy paste a bunch of that here in a bit.
Yup, I saw that. It was pretty interesting to see that all of those are possibilities. And all WITHOUT stepping away from Sample 17. Then again, if there are that many possible locations in Desmond's DNA, imagine what they could do with Subject One (Aveline de Grandpre's descendant, who had a seizure and died using the Prototype Animus).
That was so fucking crazy how they just laid out EVERYTHING. We know all the things of note in Desmond's bloodline, and they even specified that they probably won't do any stuff set in times where cars exist. And they even made mention of how Abstergo Entertainment was releasing "interactive experiences" on a yearly schedule.
And I had been wondering who John from IT was for the whole game. I had first through he was another undercover Assassin, but as soon as Juno appeared (holy shit that was creepy) and he got upset that she wasn't able to POSSESS ME (Holy shit) I assumed he was just some crazy normal guy who she had contacted somehow.
It wasn't until I saw his face that it all made sense. Why is he such an amazing hacker? Because he was one of the most technically gifted of Those Who Came Before! And THAT'S why they always made sure to not show his face!
