Call for Members: MELA Cataloging Committee (2025–2026)

Dear MELA Members,
The MELA Committee on Cataloging (ConC) is seeking new members for the 2025–2026 term. We have a few available spots for MELA members interested in cataloging Middle Eastern materials, metadata, and bibliographic standards. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to important work in our field, collaborate with colleagues, and support best practices in cataloging.
“The Committee on Cataloging is a permanent standing committee focused on addressing cataloging issues related to Middle Eastern materials. It provides recommendations, training, and support through workshops and online resources, and collaborates with other organizations on cataloging, classification, and content designation.”
