Subject: Volunteering details for Canstruction

Hi Rose,

Thank you and the Middleton Action Team so much for volunteering for our Canstruction event!  I have your group down for the following shift(s):

Friday, May 4 (12:30 pm - 3:00 pm) - Decanstruction - taking apart structures

Could you please forward this information onto your volunteers?

Canstruction will be at Keva Sports which is located at 8312 Forsythia St in Middleton.  If you need directions, please click here.  Please come 15 minutes early to sign in and meet your team leader to get instructions.  When you enter Keva's front doors, please head to the right and enter the first room on your right which is the Volunteer Room (see attached map).  In the Volunteer Room, please

·  sign in on the MOM volunteer list (all individuals must sign in)

·  sign Keva's waiver (please bring the attached waiver with you; extra forms will be available in Volunteer Room)

·  make a nametag

·  put on a red apron (which will be provided) if you are volunteering May 3 between 8 am and 8 pm

·  meet your team lead to get further instructions

A map of the building has been attached for your review.

Coats and personal items can be left in the Volunteer Room at your own risk.  Please leave valuables at home.

If you are helping with unloading of trucks or decanstructing (taking apart the structures), please bring work gloves (or anything that will protect your hands) if possible.  Please also wear comfortable clothing which can get dirty.

If you get lost, please look for a MOM staff person who will be wearing a MOM nametag for direction.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.  If your situation has changed and you can no longer volunteer, please let contact me as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to an exciting event!  We could not do this without your help!  Thank you for taking part in ending hunger in our community!

Thanks!

Esther
