Rural Maths - in Australia

My usual reaction to "farm maths" resources is "well I can look at the resources or I can watch
paint dry, and both hold about the same excitement for me." But being on holidays, I have a bit of
spare time, and I know one of the authors via the aamt list, so I thought I might as well have a
look at:

Well, the resources are very good - some excellent real-life applications of the middle school
curriculum. For each application, there are photos, an overview, a multi-page worksheet and worked
solutions. There is also a video of some farmers talking about how they use maths daily.

Definitely worth a visit, worth using in your classes and worth bookmarking for future use.
